Skjolden port is known as “the gateway to the national parks.” This is the place where Northern Europes largest mountains, glaciers and waterfalls meets the fjord. This is why Skjolden can offer adventures that does not exist anywhere else.

  • Highest peaks

    Jotunheimen national park is situated right behind Skjolden, and consists of northern Europe´s highest peaks. We offer spectacular bus trips to Sognefjellet, where you can witness both peaks and glaciers.

  • Largest Glaciers

    Josterdalen National Park can offer Europe´s largest glacier, Josterdalsbreen. We offer bus trips to Breheimsenteret, where you can learn about the glaciers, and visit the Nigardsbreen glacier arm.

  • Tallest waterfalls

    Both Vettisfossen and Feigefossen is situated in our nearby area. we can offer Helicopter trips to Vettisfossen (Europes tallest vertical waterfall) and RIB-trips on the Sognefjord to the foot of Feigefossen.
