Expanding Shore Excursions in 2025

Skjolden is thrilled to announce a significant increase in our shore excursion capacity. By 2025, we will host over 30 groups and welcome more than 1,000 passengers daily. Join us to explore the unparalleled beauty of being at the very end of the world’s longest and deepest fjord, with its stunning turquoise water.

Experience the awe of standing at the foot of Northern Europe’s tallest mountain peaks in Jotunheimen National Park and the grandeur of the Jostedalen Glacier. Not to mention the Urnes UNESCO Stave church. All of this, and a lot more is reachable within about an hour or less.

Sognefjellet scenic drive

Experience the breathtaking journey along Sognefjellsvegen, Northern Europe’s highest mountain pass, reaching an impressive 1,434 meters above sea level. This scenic route offers unparalleled views of the majestic Jotunheimen National Park

Josterdalen glacier center

Join us on a scenic bus tour to Breheimsenteret, the gateway to Jostedalsbreen National Park, home to the largest glacier on mainland Europe. Discover the awe-inspiring beauty of Nigardsbreen glacier and learn about the fascinating glacial landscapes that define this stunning region.

Urnes stave church
